Workshops
Each workshop session will be designed to meet the particular needs of the group as determined upon booking.
Choose either half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours) format.
Content can include:
- solo ringing instruction
- work with small ensembles
- focus on particular areas such as skill development and/or musicality
- repertoire ideas
- private consultation with one choir
- a brief solo ringing performance by Susan
Fees range from $200 to $500 and travel expenses will be extra. Accommodation expenses can be kept to a minimum with the use of billeting
in a private home.
Performances
The beauty and grace of solo ringing can enhance any special event. Pleasing to the ears and a visual spectacle as well, handbell solos will
add that memorable moment to any special occasion - weddings, banquets, church services and anniversaries.
Fees range from $200 to $350. Travel expenses may be extra.
You must be able to provide an 8-foot table.
Handbell maintenance
It is a good idea to have your bells serviced regularly. How often depends on what kind of use the bells get. Call us and we can discuss
a plan best suited to you.
When servicing we:
- disassemble each bell
- polish the castings
- check all parts
- reassemble the bells
- adjust each bell
- voice the set
Fees are about $150 per octave. Some parts will incur an extra charge.
